With a pretty mild winter and what’s turning out to be a beautiful spring, a lot of progress has been made at Urban North over these last few months. There are four homes currently in progress and within the next few weeks, we will be starting the design and planning phase for our newest lot reservation on Lot 8.
We are focusing on getting the Model home prepped and ready to open up the office in mid-May. Cabinets are being installed, Owen Homes’ paint crew is working on the interior and the landscapers started this week. Once the Model office is open, Owen Homes will work on finishing the final touches which they expect to be complete in June.
Luke & Emily, the homeowners of Lot 15, have been very busy making their interior selections this week. Lot 15 is scheduled to begin drywall this week and should be finished sometime mid-May.
Right now the Owen Homes’ crew is wrapping up framing for Lot 5 Plan 3A, a reverse one-and-a-half story home in Urban North. Homeowners Toby & Amber customized their elevations to reflect a Mid-Century Modern design influenced by the late architect Joseph Eichler.
Once Lot 5 framing is complete, Lot 12 should be ready to start. Lot 12 will be Plan 4A – a reverse ranch. This design combines a shed-style roof, unique window placement and the use of several different exterior materials to complete a very modern look.
Just a few weeks ago Lot 8 was reserved; the future homeowners have selected to build Plan 4base. This means there are only 18 lots left to build at in Urban North!
